CD 162 - Type III, Mold G2

Features: Reworked CD 162 I, Mold G2 and CD 162 II, G2 to further widen wire groove. Lettering is strong with mostly triangular edges; on some pieces, the lettering is worn and appears more rounded. L logo is often weaker. On reverse, 36 is often especially weak; the S is very weak and slants to the right; there is a circular blot-out following No. 36-. The mold number is very small and often barely discernable. This mold was retooled to strengthen the bottom of the skirt, CD 162 III, Mold G2.1.
