CD 160 - Type I, Mold 3

General Features: Lettering is generally strong with both rounded and triangular edges. On front, LYNCHBURG is strong with triangular edges while the L logo is much weaker with rounded edges; front lettering is about 7mm from base. The C is similar to G; lower loop of B is narrower and wider than upper. On reverse, NO. 32 is weaker with rounded edges and is slightly off center to the left; 2 is higher than 3. MADE IN U.S.A. is strong with triangular edges; letters of U.S.A. are unevenly spaced; the top of A is flat. This mold was reworked to change the shape of the crown, CD 160, Type II, Mold 3.

Mold Number Location: On reverse centered below NO. 32.
