CD 106 - Type II, Mold L3.1

Features: Retooling of CD 106 II, Mold 3 to strengthen skirt. All lettering is very weak. Skirt is machined beginning about 7-8 mm from the base with depth slightly increasing toward base, deeper on right side of front and left side of reverse. On front, the lower 1/4 to 1/2 of LYNCHBURG is removed, with increasing loss to the right. On reverse, lower part of MA is removed. Top right tip of U, part of upper and right side of lower curve of S are visible as well as the period following; A. is mostly intact. Mold number is usually very faint.

Mold Number Location: On reverse to the right of 10.
