CD 106 - Type II, Mold G10.1

Features: Retooling of CD 106 Type II, G10 to correct and strengthen lettering. Lettering is generally strong, somewhat uneven, with triangular edges. On front, LYNCHBURG is often worn and indistinct; the L in the logo slants slightly to the left. The mold number is die stamped and slightly recessed; the 1 is higher than the 0. On reverse, lettering is strong; S is oversize; to of A is squared and slants to the left. Periods are unusually large; original incorrect period is visible before U (see below).

Mold Number Location: Original mold number is not visible. Second mold number is die stamped on front to right and below L logo.
