CD 164 - Mold 10

Color: Green Aqua
Base Type: CDP:sm

* this piece has remnants of gold paint on the lettering - piece courtesy Steve Blair

Features: Lettering is generally weak with rounded edges. On front, there are a series of large circular blot-outs beneath LYNCHBURG; lettering is shallow and tentative. On reverse there are two large circular blot-outs following 38, partially erasing the dash after 38. MADE IN U.S.A. is shallow and crudely made. The 3 is oddly formed with an unusually large upper arm. The left diagonal arm of M does not quite meet the vertical stroke. The mold number is small and weak. This mold was retooled to strengthen lettering, CD 164 Mold 10.1.

Mold Number Location: On reverse between and below NO.
