CD 162 - Type III, Mold G2.1

Color: Lt. Gray Sage
Base Type: uneven RDP:x

 

Features: Retooled CD 162 III, Mold G2, which was a reworking of CD 162 I Mold G2 and CD 162 II, G2; front is machined beginning 8mm from base and increasing toward base rim, resulting in increasing shallowness of LYNCHBURG; bottom of letters are weakened; bottom of B is missing. On reverse, skirt is machined beginning 10mm from base and increasing toward base rim, resulting in loss of mold number and lower parts of U.S.A. (see below). Because of retooling bottom of skirt is slightly flared outward.

Mold Number Location: mold number is no longer visible
