CD 162 - Type II, Mold G6

Features: Reworked CD 162 I Mold G6 to widen wire groove and correct lettering. Crude lettering of original mold has been retooled and backwards letters corrected. On front, the oval of the logo has been recut with traces of the original line visible at the right side. Remnants of backward N and upside down G are visible beneath new letters. Circle blot-outs beneath LYNCHBURG are usually not visible. On reverse, MADE IN U.S.A. is cut deeper and letters evened, although S is still misshapen and slanted to the right; there is faint trace of original misplaced period before U. There are three circle blot-outs beneath MADE IN U.S.A. This mold was reworked into Type III, Mold G6 and then retooled once, Type III, Mold G6.1.
