Features: Retooling of CD 145 Mold C to stregthen lettering and add mold number. Lettering is now bold and even with triangular edges. On front, L in logo is slightly off center to the left. On reverse, both a dot and a dash follow NO ( NO.-43); the number is much shallower with rounded edges. On some pieces reverse lettering is shallow and indistinct; NO. 43 is often indistinct or unreadable. The E is smaller than other letters. There is a circular blot-out on the reverse above NO. There is a Brookfield shop marking XO on top of the crown. The mold number is die stamped and slightly recessed.

Mold Number Location: On reverse to the right and below IN.
